This special cartridge combines the function of vegetable activated charcoal (coconut), that is the ability to absorb chlorine, contaminants of chemical origin, smells and flavors to Ultrafiltration. A special hollow fiber membrane, with porosity of 0.1 microns (0.1 thousandth of millimeter) placed downstream of activated carbon, prevents the passage to any bacteria. The function is very simple, the membrane pores are smaller than cysts and bacteria, so mechanically they are not able to pass it.
