This special cartridge, combines the function of vegetable (coconut) activated carbon, that is, the ability to absorb chlorine, contaminants of chemical origin, odors and tastes with Ultrafiltration. A special hollow fiber membrane with 0.1 micron (0.1 thousandth of a millimeter) porosity placed downstream of the activated carbon prevents any bacteria from passing through. The function is very simple; the pores of the membrane are smaller than cysts and bacteria, so mechanically they are unable to pass through it.
