It uses a more advanced technology than traditional reverse osmosis. This physical principle, is based on the separation of foreign substances from water by means of a semi-permeable membrane. It is a natural process that removes contaminants of chemical, organic, radioactive, bacteriological nature and reduces the fixed residue. A part of water with the substances that have not passed through the membrane is conveyed to the compartment of the tank, intended for discharge, while the water that has passed through the membrane is channeled to the final remineralizing filter (3).

The pores of the membrane are 0.0001 micron (thousandth of a millimeter), thus smaller than any contaminant or foreign substance.
